Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and debug Networking software for digital video products targeting the "Digital Home"
- Responsible for framework design & development for multimedia products
- Responsible for design and implementation of mode device drivers, BSP and interfaces for multimedia products
- Responsible for design and implementation of UI on embedded devices
- Institute process methodologies to enable efficient design/development and ensure introduction of "First time right" products
Education and Experience Required
- 3-5 years of experience in IT industry with B.E (Computer Sc/ Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunication)
- Experience in design and development of Embedded system
- Prior experience working in multimedia application (media players, streaming clients, streaming media protocols)
- Should have development experience in Linux (Boot loader , File system , tool chain, application development)
- Experience working in firmware bring up in newly designed hardware system
- Should be proficient in C/C++ programming with knowledge of OOAD design
- Knowledge of GUI development using tools like QTopia, GTK on embedded device.
