Engineer/Sr. Engineer, Web Technology

Key Responsibilities

As a key contributor to Sling's web applications on our PHP platforms, you will be responsible for design, development and deployment of highly available and scalable, state of the art web applications, web services, and Multimedia Portals.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields preferred.
• 3-4 years coding with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and experience in back-end, front-end, and data access layers.
• Strong knowledge of PHP or Grails framework and programming web applications using PHP or Grails and HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Good knowledge of Java and related technologies
• Experience in writing Object oriented Javascript using Prototype/JQuery/Dojo framekworks is desirable
• Experience in writing SQL queries.
• Experience with PHP-oriented MVC frameworks (Symfony/CakePHP/Zend/Mojavi/PHPonTrax) helpful
• Experience with Java, J2EE technologies stack a big plus
